Threads 4 Thought Joins B Corp Community

Threads 4 Thought, a sustainable fashion brand for men and women, announced its certification as a B Corporation, an acknowledgment of the company’s commitment to social and environmental ethics, transparency and accountability. Threads 4 Thought joins a community of more than 1,200 companies across 50 industries that are Certified B Corporations.

To become certified, Threads 4 Thought had to undergo and pass an assessment by B Lab, the non-profit organization that certifies and supports B Corporations that evaluated the company’s mission, employment practices, governance structure, social impact and environmental stewardship.

Threads 4 Thought was founded by Eric and Leigh Fleet with the idea of creating a fashion brand that made a difference and was a voice for change by using sustainable materials and working with factories that treat their workers ethically and humanely. Threads 4 Thought donates 10% of the retail price of its core basic items to the International Rescue Committee’s New Roots program, which provides economic opportunities to underserved populations that have fled conflict and natural disasters.

“It is an honor to be part of a community that is made up of different corporations looking to redefine success and make a change in the world,” said Eric Fleet, Founder of Threads 4 Thought. “For us, becoming a certified B Corp is a validation of the mission that engendered the company and the Brand.”
