Superfeet, the insoles specialist, has made an investment in Last Foot Technology (LFT), a Dutch technology company. LFT and its subsidiary SafeSize, use a proprietary digital imaging and 3D mapping system to help with shoe recommendations. Utilizing the advanced imaging and cutting edge technology, the coordinated effort of Superfeet and LFT “will bring shoe- and insole-fitting and recommendation into the digital age,” said.
“We’re revolutionizing shoe fitting.” said Eric Hayes, vice president of marketing and product for Superfeet. “This technology takes the guesswork out of fitting shoes both online and in the store.”
Superfeet’s digital fitting solution will make its debut in spring of 2016 in select retailers.
