Backpacker Pantry: Celebrate Backpacking Nutrition Week, May 1-6

Backpacker’s Pantry, a family-owned maker of gourmet adventure meals based out of Boulder, Colorado, announced Backpacking Nutrition Week.

This week-long holiday is aimed at elevating the importance and awareness of backpacking food and nutrition among camping enthusiasts. The event, which runs May 1-6 is designed to bring meal planning to the forefront of trip planning. The entire outdoor industry, Backpacker’s Pantry noted, is encouraged to participate.

To help elevate this category, Backpacker’s Pantry encourages everyone to chime in with their nutrition tips and tricks, using the hashtag #BackpackingNutritionWeek throughout the first week of May.
