Ombraz Sunglasses are Nearly Indestructible

Ombraz’ co-founder Jensen Brehm was on a camel safari in India when, “snap,” someone sat on his sunglasses. With an inherent Macgyver skillset, Jensen tied a piece of twine to both hinges and wrapped the twine around his head. The new glasses worked better than the original pair and did not slip down his nose. They were secure and comfortable. When he didn’t need them, he could drop them around his neck or throw them in his pocket without fear of breaking them.

That’s how Ombraz was born.

Ombraz calls itself “the first and only armless sunglasses.” Instead of traditional sidearms, it uses a 100 percent recycled Japanese nylon cord that wraps around the head. The built-in adjustable cord and no arms allow the wearer to wear the frames comfortably while enjoying outdoor activity without getting any aches on your ears.

With no arms, screws, or expensive hinges, you never have to worry about breaking your sunglasses.
