Interbike is expanding to fill a new exhibition hall recently completed at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center to accommodate several new amenities. The event returns Las Vegas with OutDoor Demo in Boulder City, Nev., September 14-15, 2015, followed by the Interbike Expo September 16-18, 2015.
Interbike show has taken up halls A, B, C and D in the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center area since 2012 and will now include the newly added hall E. This added space will according show additions including a new indoor test track, a new Product Innovation Zone, a new food court with seating, on-floor retail education.
Interbike also will add a new on-floor VIP Retailer lounge, designed to offer a place to relax, refresh and enjoy a cold drink. Lounge access will be given to retailers who attended The 2015 IBD Summit, are among the 2015 NBDA America’s Best Retailers, and more.
Interbike Sales Director, Andria Klinger, has been busy laying out a new floorplan to include the new hall, and said attendees will notice a much improved navigation experience.
“The added space allows us to have more consistent, uninterrupted aisles which will naturally enhance show floor exploration and flow,” said Klinger. “In addition to creating a new Product Innovation Zone, we are also expanding the popular Urban Yard and relocating it closer to the new hall to accommodate heavy demand.”
The space will accommodate a new section for companies that previously exhibited at the Health+Fitness Business Expo, a retail fitness oriented show that is no longer a stand-alone event. Hus said that there will also be increased space for additional show floor networking and meeting space.
“Space is filling up faster that we’ve seen in the past and there will likely come a point soon when we’ll be filled to capacity and will have to start a waiting list,” said Klinger.
