Dovetail Workwear has appointed Katie Copeland to National Sales Director. Copeland will manage the North American-based sales team and independent reps, execute sales and retail objectives, and support the overall growth strategy for the exclusively women’s workwear brand.
Prior to joining Dovetail, Copeland built a successful career in sales management across the outdoor industry including her most recent position at Petzl America, where she served as National Sales Manager since 2018. She also spent three years at Amer Sports, briefly as a sales analyst before leading the commercial management of Salomon Endurance Apparel & Gear for the company. Her additional experience in Sales Operations at Gregory Mountain Products and as a top Territory Sales Rep for Evault, a Seagate Company, offers invaluable sales knowledge and expertise in her new position at Dovetail.
Copeland was an honors graduate in Business Administration Management from Fort Lewis College and remains passionate about continuing professional development and community engagement.
She completed the Camber Outdoor Mentoring Program in 2019 and the Sendline Leadership Lab in 2021, while also earning continuing education credits from the University of Utah in the Finance for Non-Finance Leaders course in 2021.
