ARTILECT Hires Director of Technical Design & Development

ARTILECT, a new action/outdoor brand, announced Sonia Lunardon has joined its team as Director of Technical Design and Development.

Lunardon joins Design Director Erica Cahn and co-founder and co-CEO Trent Bush on the growing ARTILECT design team. Lunardon, Cahn and Bush bring decades of product design and development experience that will advance the brand’s skin-out A/SYS technical apparel system.

The new direction is well known in the performance apparel industry for her expertise. Lunardon’s prior roles include almost a decade as Product Development Manager at The North Face as well as technical design roles at Fox Racing and Alpinestars.

ARTILECT is a creative outdoor apparel studio focused on elevating human performance in any environment and creating apparel systems that anticipate consumer needs from the inside out. The brand will meld technology, style and function, with sustainability as a core principle from day one.

The core of the ARTILECT line is A/SYS, a comprehensive technical apparel system. Each individual style will offer next-level performance as a stand-alone but optimized when worn in the ARTILECT system. Every item in the A/SYS apparel system is designed with an understanding of the critical importance of moisture management, thermoregulation, breathability and performance and will reflect a style that’s uniquely ARTILECT.

The ARTILECT brand is designed for consumers who are looking to the future of the action/outdoor market. ARTILECT’s first product offering will be available to retailers in Fall 2021.
