Winter Wildlands Alliance (WWA) announced its ninth biennial Grassroots Advocacy Conference will take place virtually, August 24-25. Participants will be joining policy makers, athletes, grassroots activists, scientists, educators, mountain guides, local elected officials, and other recreation and conservation stakeholders and activists from across the country for a virtual program focusing on issues important to public lands, winter and sustainable recreation.
The conference will explore the latest developments in national policy, advocacy and planning issues; share regional grassroots successes and strategies; meet with public land managers and fellow activists; and gain new advocacy tools.
