Wambolt, an American outdoor company building gear and storage solutions, will debut its Ready-to-Go gear and storage solution at the upcoming Outdoor Retailer, featured at the ASCENT | Emerging Brands Pavilion, in Minneapolis. Founded in 2025, the New Hampshire company’s mission is “to be the reason more families go more places, more often.”
According to Wambolt, modern gear and storage solutions are not aimed at families. Roof racks often sit out of reach, hold only soft goods and are a challenge to store. Open cargo carriers are weather exposed, can be tough to strap down and block the rear door.
Wambolt’s Ready-To-Go (RTG) System, for its part, is fully customizable gear storage for the garage and the vehicle, said the company. Full specifications will be available at OR Booth 429.
“The outdoor experience for families starts well before leaving the door,” said Scott Wambolt, Founder and CEO. “The main challenge for families centers on the transitions to and from the house. Packing before trips and unpacking after are where the headaches live. They’re where last-minute trips get skipped and small windows bypassed. The logistical barrier is the primary one. We are removing that.”
Wambolt is building gear for families like his: kids at home, gear for every season and activity, but no system that bridges the home and the trip.
“We didn’t want to design another rack or another bin,” said Scott. “We wanted to design a new way to think about your gear storage. We think your storage system should help you go more.”
