The Running Event (TRE) – a run and outdoor specialty retail conference and trade show – opened registration for this year’s event. The 2024 TRE will take place November 19-21 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
“Opening registration for TRE always signifies something special for our team,” said Christina Henderson, event director, TRE. “We’re inviting the run and outdoor specialty communities to experience everything that makes TRE so special–the connections, the education, and all the opportunities that are created when an industry comes together.”
Highlights will include:
- Educational program, with sessions covering leadership and executive insight, economics and market trends, advanced technology and applications, community building and more.
- Exhibit hall, with a show floor featuring hundreds of specialty brands, including adidas, ASICS, Brooks, HOKA, KEEN, New Balance, Nike, On and Saucony.
- Switchback at TRE, an outdoor-focused expansion to unite outdoor brands and retailers, featuring exhibitors such as Patagonia, Outdoor Research, Black Diamond Equipment, LOWA Boots and Teva.
- Networking opportunities, with on- and offsite events such as the Indie 5K, Welcome Reception, Trail Cleanup and more.
- Industry awards dinner, honoring this year’s recipients and recognizing the 2024 Best Running Stores, including Store of the Year.
