Sports Specialists Partners with Promoboxx to Support Retail Members

Specialty retailer buying group Sports Specialists, Ltd. (SSL) is partnering with Promoboxx, a retail marketing platform powered by brands, to support its retail members with marketing campaigns and content. SSL joins eighteen outdoor and winter manufacturing brands, including Arc’teryx, KEEN, The Tecnica Group, Smartwool, Amer Winter Sports and Patagonia, that also use Promoboxx to connect and align with specialty retailers and increase local awareness and sales at every storefront.

SSL is the first retailer buying group to partner with Promoboxx. SSL will leverage the Promoboxx platform to provide more than 150 retail storefronts with outdoor industry marketing campaigns and content, specifically focused on the ski industry. The Promoboxx retail marketing platform allows brands to collaborate with, co-market with and increase sales through local, independent retailers. Brands invite retailers to participate in both organic and paid multi-channel digital marketing campaigns using brand-approved content that creates urgency. Retailers can then customize the content for their local markets and automatically promote it to their earned and paid audiences across social, email, mobile and web channels. Sports Specialists Ltd. will be using the platform as a brand, and will be sharing content with retailers through Promoboxx.
