Along with its new website, Snowboundfest.com, SIA announced plans for the newly reinvented regional Snowbound Festivals in New England and the Rockies, which are set to roll out in November 2021
For the past 40 years, the Boston and Denver Ski and Snowboard Expos have been the official kickoff of winter. These events celebrated the upcoming winter season and built excitement for the incoming snowfall. The newly rebranded Snowbound Festivals will still highlight exclusive winter products and the best deals of the season but will expand and transform to incorporate a plethora of activities, such as art shows, autograph signings, panel discussions, concerts, movie premieres, and much more. The Rockies festival will take place in Denver, Colo., on November 5-7, 2021 while the New England festival will be located in Boston, Mass., on November 18-21, 2021.
“Snowbound will be a destination for winter enthusiasts of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds and it will also be a platform for change that is utilized for education, inclusion and climate advocacy,” said Brian Stephenson, director of Snowbound Festival. “We will continue to monitor the state of the COVID-19 pandemic through the next year in order to keep the well-being of everyone involved in the Festivals our main priority. In the meantime, our new Snowbound website is now up and running and is a constantly updated resource for anyone interested in getting outside and on snow this season.”
