Sea to Summit Names Strategic Partners/Business Development Director

Global outdoor gear manufacturer, Sea to Summit, introduced Tracy Brunz as the brand’s new North America Director of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development.

Brunz joins with more than 30 years of retail expertise in specialty and big box formats. Prior to joining Sea to Summit, Brunz spent a decade in leadership roles for REI within the company’s divisional merchandising teams.

Brunz was attracted to Sea to Summit by the company’s track record of design and product innovation coupled with a rich Australian heritage – a characteristic unique among outdoor brands.

“I’m excited by Sea to Summit’s commitment to be a relentless ally in each of its customer’s outdoor adventures, and I’m eager to apply my knowledge of the wholesale and retail partnership to the organization,” Brunz said. “Joining the Sea to Summit team enables me to apply my broad experience and knowledge within retail to a truly authentic outdoor brand.”

Relying on her understanding of how to navigate large, complex organizations, Brunz will work directly with Sea to Summit’s leadership to identify and open relationships with retail partners while ensuring a cohesive sales strategy across the company.

“I was fortunate to work with Tracy during her tenure at REI. She is a strategic thinker, oriented toward bringing big ideas to life and I’m confident that her wealth of knowledge and experience in the retail space will make her an excellent addition to the team. We look forward to strengthening and growing our strategic partnerships under her leadership and are thrilled to have her on board as we embark on the exciting years ahead,” said Josh Simpson, North American General Manager.
