Registration Opens for 2022 Volunteer Vacations

Join American Hiking Society for a week of building and maintaining trails in breathtaking locations across the country. Work hard, get dirty, dig deep and feel rewarded while conducting service that will bring outdoor adventures to others for years to come.

Extra precautions are in place to keep volunteers safe including vaccine requirements, social distancing, and outdoor accommodations at select destinations.

Join us on a Volunteer Vacation in 2022 and camp among Joshua Trees in Joshua Tree National Park, explore the deep history at Camp Nelson National Monument,  backpack in Montana’s rugged and beautiful Bitterroot National Forest, relax on the beach after maintaining trails in the Virgin Islands National Park, or join one of many recurring trips in your favorite local and state parks.
