OR Made In America Showcase Now Accepting Submissions

Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) and Outdoor Retailer announced today that they are once again bringing the Made In America Product Showcase to Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2016, held on January 7-10, 2016, in Salt Lake City.

In recognition of the growing interest in U.S. manufacturing, the showcase was launched in August 2014 to share the story of companies sourcing in the United States. The program goal is to raise the profile of domestic manufacturing at Outdoor Retailer, and to educate exhibitors, retailers, and media about American manufacturing.   Benefits of participation in the Made in America Showcase include:

  • Product placement in a high traffic area of ORWM16 in the Made in America Showcase, located at the top of the East Entrance ramp.
  • Placement for 1-2 products with product labeling including company contact and sourcing locations.
  • Signage with logos adjacent to the showcase.
  • Recognition at your booth of your participation in the showcase.
  • Recognition at various ORWM events.
  • Placement in a Made in America printed piece.
  • Brand recognition through related press releases, OIA social media posts, dedicated OIA webpage, individual highlighted stories, and earned media pieces before, during and after ORWM.
  • The opportunity to participate in the Made In America Fundraiser sale benefitting the Outdoor Foundation.

The applications for product submissions are now open, exhibiting brands can apply here. Finished products will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for applications is Monday, November 23, 2015 to be included in the showcase collateral.
