Northern Forest Canoe Trail Online Auction is Open

Bid to win outdoor gear in the Northern Forest Canoe Trail’s 11th Annual Online Auction at www.biddingforgood.com/theCanoeTrailAuction and support the nonprofit that protects access to the longest water trail in the nation.

This month-long event includes name brand paddling and camping gear made by ExPed, Ice Mule, Kokatat, MTI Adventurewear and REI. Boats include a foldable 12′ Oru kayak ($1,275 value) which transforms from box to boat in just 5 minutes and weighs only 26 lbs., and a used sample Wenonah Spirit II 17′ canoe.

Up for bid are guided trips and lodging along the canoe trail in the Adirondacks, and northern Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine including a Maine Woods Discovery Two-Night Getaway for Two—five locations the winner can choose from—with a “Goods from the Woods” tote bag ($900 value).

The auction is live now through December 1, and is co-sponsored by Paddling.net. Proceeds benefit the Northern Forest Canoe Trail which maintains the 740-mile water trail that connects lakes and rivers from the Adirondacks to northern Maine.
