Moosejaw Pledges 10% of MSR Filter Sales to MSR Impact Project

Seattle-based Mountain Safety Research (MSR) announced that online outdoor retailer Moosejaw will donate 10 percent of its MSR water filter and purifier sales to the MSR Impact Project moving forward. The MSR Impact Project was launched in June 2018 to increase access to safe drinking water and hygiene through life-changing technologies and long-term, local partnerships.

With partners like Moosejaw, the MSR Impact Project and MSR Global Health have helped to provide safe drinking water to over half a million people worldwide. “We are thrilled to partner with MSR’s Impact Project and our amazing customers in helping more people enjoy safe drinking water across the world and look forward to a successful campaign,” says Dan Pingree, CMO of Moosejaw.

“We’re excited to have Moosejaw onboard as our first official sponsor of the MSR Impact Project,” says Patrick Diller, MSR Global Health. “MSR’s work in global health was built with partnerships for sustainable impact, and partners like Moosejaw will be critical as we continue to improve quality of life for people around the world.”

MSR and Moosejaw partnered in 2017 to deploy 76 MSR Community Chlorine Makers to communities in Niger, Ghana, Sri Lanka, and Guatemala, helping more than 15,000 people find access to safe drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene.
