Grand Trunk Seeks Brand Ambassadors

Grand Trunk, makers of goods for the road, is currently seeking brand ambassadors to join its team. The Jolly Llamas will introduce communities to the ‘mocking lifestyle through events, social media and word of mouth, said the company.

“Just take a stroll around any college campus, park or trail and you’re bound to see a Grand Trunk hammock,” says Jon Neff, VP and co-founder with Grand Trunk. “Our products are designed to enhance the outdoor experience from kicking back and relaxing to embarking on the adventure of a lifetime.”

Grand Trunk invites outdoor enthusiasts adept at exploring the great outdoors and embracing new cultures to apply to become a Jolly Llama. The ideal Jolly Llama has a passion for outdoor adventure, enjoys traveling and meeting new people, and positively influencing his or her peers. Llamas must be active social media users, and at least 18 years of age or older.

Grand Trunk takes its name from the Grand Trunk road, a 1,600 mile, 4-week journey spanning across Southeast Asia that literally opened up the world, and evokes a restlessness for the road and adventure. The llama is a South American camelid widely used as a pack animal by the Incas and as a universal symbol of transport and travel. Together these symbols represent the Grand Trunk lifestyle of worldly, free spirited adventure, said the company.

Llamas will be provided with resources to organize local events, offer premiums and commission-based deals to friends, family and affiliates on Grand Trunk’s goods for the road. In addition to gaining valuable marketing and social media experience, the Jolly Llama program: “provides valuable discounts and financial incentives for Llamas to save money on their favorite items while earning a little extra cash to take that much needed vacation or outdoor excursion,” adds Neff.
