Celebrating Nurses Week (May 6-12), VIM & VIGR has announced the launch of its annual nursing scholarship program with two scholarships of at least $3,500.
Makers of stylish and comfortable compression socks for all walks of life, VIM & VIGR wants to support students enrolled in an accredited, 2-plus year program for nursing, and scholarships will be awarded in August, in time for Fall Semester.
Final scholarship amounts are dependent on VIM & VIGR’s Nurses Week promotion running April 29 through May 12. During those two weeks, the brand will donate $5 for every pair of socks sold to the scholarship fund. VIM & VIGR’s scholarship program focuses on nurses to give back a little of what they give to us while working long hours on their feet and providing care to those who are most in need.
VIM & VIGR’s scholarship application is open to students enrolled in an accredited program (two-year minimum) to pursue a career in nursing. Applicants will need to complete an online application, submit an official transcript along with at least one letter of recommendation from a faculty member or clinical instructor. A short response to three questions completes the process.
Applications will be accepted now through 11:59 p.m. (MST), July 20. Applicants must be in good academic standing with GPA of 3.0 or higher and qualifying degree programs include Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, and Licensed Practical Nurse.
