Tentsile has launched the Tentsile Universe, a groundbreaking three-element tent designed to be used on land, air and water.
The Tentsile Universe holds up to five adults when used on the ground and up to three adults while suspended in the air or floating on the water. It also provides generous sleeping space, storage vestibules and the ability to modify ventilation. When covered, the Tentsile Universe provides 5.6 feet of headspace and three spacious porch areas.
Add the rainfly, and the Tentsile Universe becomes insect-proof, rainproof and UV resistant. The entire roof can also be removed for unobstructed panoramic views.
When activities move to the lake, the Tentsile Universe can then be modified for on-water use by rolling back the vestibule doors, securing the rain fly and removing the insect mesh.
This simple modification creates a stable, three-person SUP-style raft that allows users to relax on the water. Made in conjunction with U.S.-based Glide SUP, the firm, insulated and inflatable three-inch PVC drop stitch floor provides comfort and flotation.
The shelter is fully collapsible, packing to 44 x 15 x 15 inches and weighing 100 pounds. It has a maximum load of 880 pounds. The MRSP is $1999.
The Tentsile Universe launch celebrates Tentsile’s six-year anniversary, and to celebrate, the brand is hosting a Facebook Live birthday event all day on Monday, March 18.
During the event, Tentsile will be raffling off one Tentsile Universe, while pledging to plant 10 trees for each $2 raffle ticket purchased. Tickets can be purchased at tentsile.com from March 11 – March 18.
In addition, a 10 percent discount will be applied to all Tentsile Universe orders leading up to March 18 and will include a free UNA Tree Tent, the lightweight single-person Tree Tent.
