Tailwind Nutrition, a provider of simple and complete sports nutrition products for athletes, has partnered with Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center (FoCAIC) to support its Trailhead Outreach Program.
Throughout the 2022/2023 winter season, FoCAIC will visit backcountry trailheads throughout the state to provide avalanche information and education to backcountry users. Tailwind Nutrition will support the Trailhead Outreach Program by providing samples of its flagship Endurance Fuel drink mix to backcountry users.

At the trailhead, FoCAIC staff distribute safety information, encourage the use of the CAIC website and mobile app, and answer questions about how to access the safety information generated by CAIC.
