Stormy Kromer Supports Veterans with Commemorative Cap

Stormy Kromer, makers of functional headwear born in the wilds of the northern Midwest, has created commemorative limited edition caps to benefit the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight. The men’s and women’s caps will be available for purchase on Stormy Kromer’s website, www.stormykromer.com

The Upper Peninsula Honor Flight, part of the national Honor Flight system, is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. The program transports veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials at no cost to the veterans. To date the U.P. Honor Flight has transported nearly 800 veterans to Washington, D.C. The next U.P. Honor Flight is scheduled for May 25.

“We have a long tradition of supporting our veterans and the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight provides an amazing service to our vets,” said Gina Thorsen, Stormy Kromer president.

In December of last year, Jacquart Fabric Products, makers of Stormy Kromer, was recognized with the Michigan Works Veterans Employer of the year for it’s support of veterans.
