SKYLOTEC is integrating Climbing Technology into its SKYLOTEC Brand. In mid-2025, the SKYLOTEC’s OUTDOOR segment will launch onto the market. The move follows SKYLOTEC’s 2021 purchase of Climbing Technology’s parent company, Aludesign.
“Under the strong SKYLOTEC brand, each segment will support one another – delivering premium solutions for professionals working at height and climbers across all disciplines,” said SKYLOTEC CEO, Kai Rinklake. “Developing climbing equipment is demanding. It requires experience, technical expertise, and a passion for safety and performance. This is what we’ve stood for since 2008 in sport climbing – and even longer in professional sector. Uniting all our vertical solutions under one brand is the natural next step.”
From a strategic perspective, the integration highlights SKYLOTEC’s commitment to in-house production and European manufacturing. The company also made several investments to its Italian production site to improve efficiency and capacity, while positioning it for future growth.
“SKYLOTEC has earned its reputation as a premium brand in the professional sector, and is now driving its momentum into every field where height meets challenge,” said Rinklake. “For us, there is no distinction between ‘the sport climber’ and ‘the professional user’ – only people who share a passion for the unique fascination that challenges and experiences at height can offer. We are here for all of them.”
In 2026, SKYLOTEC’s OUTDOOR products will be available through retailer and B2B channel partners.
