British outdoor brand Rab, which is owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies, was awarded a pair of ISPO awards for its Spring/Summer 2026 equipment collection. Rab was recognized for both the Mythic -6 sleeping bag and Syclon XP 40 pack, which feature technology and designs that are developed for ultralight mountain use.
The ISPO awards represent innovation and design within the sports industry.
The Mythic -6 sleeping bag uses Rab’s new patented L.O.F.T 3D (lightweight offset funnel technology 3D) to achieve a weight of 700g while improving warmth and performance. L.O.F.T 3D baffle construction features offset walls twisted into a helix shape to create funnel points that prevent down migration and maintain warmth distribution.
The sleeping bag also combines 900 fill-power Grangers down defend hydrophobic goose down with Rab’s heat-reflective TILT technology and 10D Pertex quantum fabric. Design features include trapezoidal baffles and strategic placement of seam lines, zips and hood cinches designed with side sleepers in mind.
The Syclon XP 40 pack, meanwhile, features Rab’s new AEROFIT back system, which combines waterproof protection with ventilation. The carry system’s feature is its body-contouring mesh system, which runs from the back panel through to the hip belt for weight distribution and comfort.
With IPX4 waterproof rating, taped seams and Spectra fabrics, the Syclon XP 40 offers protection without sacrificing breathability. At under 1kg, it offers a waterproof, ventilated pack that is ideal for mountain missions, hut-to-hut adventures and multi-day treks.
Both will be available to consumers in Spring/Summer 2026.
