SIA’s Town Hall Series Turns to Inclusion

Beginning July 14, SIA will be hosting series of conversations to help the winter outdoor industry better understand diversity, equity and inclusion issues and the role and responsibility our industry plays in creating positive change. The series will be hosted by  Selema “Sal” Masekela (pictured), a commentator, journalist, host, Emmy nominated producer and action sports enthusiast. Outside of his front-of-camera work, Sal thrives as a film/tv producer and musician, recording under the alias ‘Alekesam‘. The son of South African jazz legend/activist Hugh Masekela, Selema Masekela is the co-founder of  Stoked Mentoring, an organization dedicated to mentoring at risk youth through action sports.
