Sea to Summit has announced Darrin Young as its new national sales manager. Young brings 20 years of industry experience to Sea to Summit, most recently at SmartWool where he spent a little over 10 years working with independent and national retailers.
Young reportedly will work sales director Josh Simpson as he leads the sales team and provides support to the company’s independent reps, in addition to working directly with many of the brand’s national retail partners. Sea to Summit services more than 80 percent of its North American dealer base through its in-house sales and customer service team, which has been expanding over the past few years.

Young will be based at the company’s head office in Boulder, Colo.
