Effective immediately, Roval Components is acting to lessen the impacts felt by local bike shops across the country as operations change in response to COVID-19. Through the Support Our Shops program, Roval is sharing profits from every full-price RovalComponents.com wheel sale with their retailers while bike shop operations are impacted.
“We’re all in this together. Bike shops are the lifeblood of cycling– as riders, we all rely on them and we can’t watch our friends experience financial stress without acting to help. Support Our Shops shares the profits from online sales, with our bike shops, providing much-needed income while their sales operations are curtailed due to social distancing measures,” said Roval brand manager Ben Capron.
Riders making a wheel purchase can support their favorite shop by entering the name of the shop on checkout– any authorized Roval shop in the USA is eligible to receive the funds. If no shop is selected, the dollars will go to the Roval retail partner closest to the buyer.
Roval will be supporting the program with continued messaging via all digital channels, as well as offering visual assets to retail partners so that they may promote it via their networks. The Support Our Shops program is only valid for US-based Roval retail partners.
The program is in effect until shops nationwide are able to resume normal sales operations.
