Romp Skis Unveils Five New Ski Families

Romp Skis, known for handcrafted custom skis, announced five new non-custom ski families to expand its Romp Ready ski offerings. The five new ski families include nine fresh models, each available in different size options. The offerings include:

  • The Shepherd – The Shepherd line offers a tapered shape that is designed to provide confidence in any terrain, no matter the conditions. Equally adept as a resort ski or backcountry rig, the Shepherd features a shape for quick turns, an easily releasable tail and rocker profile that will provide excellent performance in powder and soft snow. (MSRP: $799)
  • The Mason – The Mason line is built for skiers who spend most of their time on groomed terrain and want to improve their skiing fundamentals and technique. Fine-tuned with input from Level 3 PSIA ski instructors, these skis will perform and accentuate good technique. Skiers who are dedicated to the “craft of the turn”, will find the tools they are searching for in the Romp Mason line. (MSRP: $849)
  • The Leif – The Leif line is built for skiers who are looking to earn their turns in the backcountry. Built with the best weight saving to durability ratio, these skis will tour efficiently and still rip the descent. (MSRP: $949)
  • The Oso – The technical steeps of Crested Butte are the inspiration for the Oso freeride collection. Designed for skiers who like to ski aggressively and spend most of their time off-piste and built to be smooth and powerful in steep and variable conditions. These skis are confident at high speed, but remain quick and nimble in complicated terrain. (MSRP: $849)
  • The Zorro – The Zorro is an all-mountain powerhouse. Quick turning and nimble, these skis are best suited when seeking the most fluid and playful route as opposed to the quickest line down. The finesse and energy of the Zorro line is particularly rewarding to experts who like to ski dynamically. (MSRP: $799)
