Founded in 2019 by friends Bryce Jones and Alex Page, Rocky Talkie enhances the backcountry experience through intuitive and ruggedly built communications tools.

Prior to Rocky Talkie, Jones and Page struggled to find reliable two-way radios with the ideal combination of battery life, range and rugged build that could withstand the duo’s many climbing adventures.

Their need sparked the development of the original Mountain Radio – a two-watt, 128-channel hand-held radio with a three-day battery life. Since its introduction, Rocky Talkie has earned a reputation for reliable and intuitive backcountry communication.
