REI Co-op reportedly submitted plans to the town of Grand Chute for review of a proposed 20,500-square-foot building in the Wisconsin town. The site plan will be considered at the town’s May 21 Plan Commission meeting.
A company spokeswoman said REI hasn’t yet announced plans for an Appleton-area store, but if the plan goes forward, it would be REI’s third Wisconsin location after Brookfield and Madison. The Seattle-based company has 154 stores around the country.
