Pro-Tec Resigns Jurek as Ambassador

Pro-Tec Athletics announced the resigning of Ultra Marathon Champion, Scott Jurek with a two year partnership. Jurek has been raising awareness to the brand as a member of Pro-Tec’s team of professional athletes for more than seven years.

As a professional athlete, Jurek has utilized the Pro-Tec line in assisting him to perform at his highest level of athleticism. He has experienced several common running injuries throughout his career, and personally seen the benefits the Pro-Tec product line has to offer, says the company.

Pro-Tec Athletics is proud to announce some of Scott’s many achievements:

  • 7 time record holder of the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run;
  • Champion of the 153 mile Sparathlon, Hardrock 100, Badwater 135 mile Untlramarathon, & the Miwok 100K;
  • Record holder for the US all-surface 24-Hour Run of 165.7 miles—6.5 marathons in one day (2010); and
  • Author of NY Times Best Seller Eat & Run

Jurek brings his background in physical therapy and his experience as a professional ultra-marathon runner to the Pro-Tec team. He will continue to work closely with Pro-Tec to help educate runners about recovery and performance.
