Paddlesports Retailer is now open for registration for both buyers and vendors. To date, the number of Founding Exhibitors has grown to more than 40 brands, said event organizers. Paddlesports Retailer will debut on August 29 – September 1, 2017 in Madison, Wisc., utilizing the common format of an opening on-water demo followed by three days in the hall. Earlier in the month, a broad coalition of paddlesports brands formally endorsed Paddlesports Retailer as the industry’s official national tradeshow.
“We’re pleased that the paddlesports industry has been so supportive,” said Sutton Bacon, co-founder of Paddlesports Retailer. “In just 70 days we’ve gone from an idea to execution, and we’ve done so by providing an extremely good value for the exhibitors,” said Bacon.
“Paddlesports Retailer was born with the paddlesports buyers in mind,” said Darren Bush, co-founder along with Bacon. “We are encouraging vendors who offer a healthy North American supply chain and respect intellectual property to participate.”
In addition to having more affordable booth rates than larger shows, there are also no added fees or surprises. “We have significantly reduced drayage costs,” said Bush. “We are assisting exhibitors in finding the services they need, but we are not marking them up.”
Paddlesports Retailer has set up a housing block to accommodate buyers and exhibitors. It simplifies booking and gives the participants a one-stop shop for travel planning. Prospective attendees can find that link at www.paddlesportsretailer.com/travel
