The Outbound Collective announced a new outdoor industry partnership with Eddie Bauer. The Bellevue, Washington-based retailer has signed on as the official 2021 Adventure Outfitter of the Outbound Collective.
“At the Outbound Collective, we’re building an outdoor community where everyone feels welcome, represented and empowered to live healthier lives through the pursuit of everyday adventures,” said Brian Heifferon, CEO and co-founder of the Outbound Collective. “To realize this ambitious vision for a better outdoors, we need to find like-minded partners within the industry who share our purpose and values. Eddie Bauer is the perfect partner.”
Through the partnership, the two companies will empower, inspire and outfit their respective communities and accelerate their joint goals of building a more inclusive space in the outdoors. Eddie Bauer is already a key partner in the Collective’s #EveryoneOutside Film Series and Writers Residency Program for Underrepresented Storytellers.
The renewed partnership will expand to include product collaborations, guide and athlete contributions, user engagement rewards, and exclusive perks for Outbound Collective PRO members and Community Partners.
From designing the first patented down jacket in the United States to outfitting the first American ascent of Mt. Everest, Eddie Bauer brings more than 100 years of inspiration, innovation and exploration to the Outbound Collective’s community.
As the Eddie Bauer team looks ahead to the next 100 years, it wants to bring the benefits of the outdoors to all communities, particularly those that have been underrepresented in the outdoor industry.
