NexTex Innovations, an Atlanta-based textile technology developer that builds strategic partnerships with brands, entrepreneurs and manufacturers to bring textile innovations to market, will introduce its latest fabric developments and brand customer adoptions under its TDry brand name at the Outdoor Retailer Snow Show in booth 4009, Jan. 10-12 in Salt Lake City.
Falling under the TDry brand umbrella will be a broad portfolio of fabrics including synthetics, naturals, blends, and elastics that encompass the trademarked TDry technology, namely TurboWick, TurboWarm, TurboDry and more.
TDry technology is a patent-pending fabric construction that harnesses the same capillary forces as the root systems in trees and moves moisture away from the skin keeping users dry, comfortable and more equipped to maintain their core body temperature. The core mission of the technology is to provide consumers with comfortable, sustainable performance textiles.
NexTex will have new brand partner products made with TDry technology on display in its booth, one of which is Montec, a direct-to-consumer ski and snowboard brand featuring TurboWick in its base layer offering.
“We’ve received a tremendous amount of positive feedback from our brand partners and ambassadors with regards to TDry performance since we launched the technology in 2020,” said Chad Lawrence, NexTex CEO. “We are excited to be back at OR in SLC to highlight our latest TDry fabric collection and share some of our brand partners’ innovative products made with them.”
NexTex will launch a new user-friendly TDry website where brands will be able to learn more about its technologies and seamlessly order sample fabric swatches online.
To bridge the gap between outdoor technology brands and the consumers who use its products, NexTex Innovations and drirelease will host live entertainment at 7 p.m., Jan. 11 at Ember SLC, 623 State St. The event featuring live music and installation by local artists is open to all OR attendees and Salt Lake mountain recreators.
