NBDA, PeopleForBikes to be Education Partners at (E)revolution Show

The first national e-bike trade show, (e)revolution, announced the National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) and PeopleForBikes have signed on as strategic partners for education development for the June 8-11, 2023, show at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. As part of the partnership, (e)revolution will donate a portion of exhibitor booth sales to both organizations to support their advocacy work.

“The NBDA is pleased to be a partner in this revolutionary conference. We look forward to working united with PeopleforBikes to create opportunities for attendees to collectively learn about regulation, risk, advocacy, and innovation around this growing segment of our sport. Education tracts for retailers will focus on timely topics, including profitability, retailer best practices and technical certifications” said NBDA President Heather Mason.

Mason also noted the NBDA’s support also aligns with the B2B trade aspect of the show for retailers, stating, “The e side of our industry has been evolving at rapid pace, (e)revolution provides a great opportunity to showcase the full breadth and depth of our mobility technology, capabilities, and broad ecosystem of partners.”

Education is a foundational objective of (e)revolution in addition to providing retailers and consumers the opportunity to meet directly with e-bike brands and suppliers.

“Since the introduction of e-bikes over 20 years ago, the cycling industry has continuously needed to adapt and address the impact of these products,” said Lance Camisasca, (e)revolution Show Director. “Both NBDA and PeopleForBikes are on the leading edge at providing robust education and with their partnerships, they can greatly improve the understanding and knowledge of e-bikes for both shop owners and cyclists.”

Camisasca acknowledging the importance of aiding the organization’s advocacy efforts, said, “(e)revolution is committed to improving the e-bike market and that is why we are donating a portion of our proceeds to both organizations.”

PeopleforBikes President & CEO Jenn Dice added, “Our work on electric bicycles includes everything from increasing access and adoption to product regulation to incentive programs and policies, allowing PeopleForBikes to provide attendees with timely and relevant education and data presented by industry experts.

“We are thankful to (e)revolution for strengthening and supporting our advocacy efforts to make riding an electric bicycle easy and accessible for everyone,” Dice said.
