Nathan announced the hiring of Kevin Kelly as its first Tech Rep. Kelly – an avid athlete and former star placekicker for Penn State University – will support NATHAN’s east coast retailers as a key resource for those trying to grow the essentials category as a whole.
Via in-store clinics, events and other educational initiatives, Kelly will provide retailers with assets to highlight the benefits and features of NATHAN’s products, in conjunction with the importance of hydration, visibility and individualized performance gear.
With a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Penn State, Kelly has a comprehensive understanding of how the right products and knowledge are critical to performance. As a former student athlete, Kelly is the all-time leading scorer for kicking in Big Ten football history. He remains a fitness enthusiast, an avid runner and CrossFit participant.
“Sports and fitness have always been a large part of my life and I have admired the products that NATHAN develops. My enthusiasm for running provides an excellent knowledge base for me to help extend the reach of the brand,” said Kelly. “The chance to support retailers and help drive growth of the essentials category is one I am thrilled to have.”
