MYSTERY RANCH Hires VP of Sales, Marketing

MYSTERY RANCH, a pack company built on a heritage of comfortable load carriage, announced the hiring or a new Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Dan Dahl. With extensive experience in outdoor, fashion, military and international markets, Dahl is qualified to lead the sales, marketing, and customer service departments as MYSTERY RANCH’s multi-channel business is primed for growth.

Dahl joins MYSTERY RANCH after most recently serving as President of Global Sales at MiiR, where he managed the overall business and led the team to 55 percent compounded annual growth from 2019-2021. Prior to that, he spearheaded the U.S. specialty business for Levi’s, leading the restoration of the premium specialty retail business.

Additionally, Dahl ran his own distribution business in Japan from 1991-2006 for several brands, including Kavu, Arc’Teryx, MSR, Freestyle Watches, and Eagle Creek. Based on this success, Dahl was recruited to conduct international business in the Asia-Pacific region for Arc’Teryx growing its topline sales by five times.

“At MYSTERY RANCH, we have a manufacturing culture and heritage that aligns perfectly with Dan’s values and experience,” said Alex Kutches, president of MYSTERY RANCH. “His broad range of experience in different markets, in the U.S. and abroad, will help to take our business to the next level.”
