Mountain Hardwear Appoints President

Mountain Hardwear, a leader in performance equipment and apparel for climbers, mountaineers and athletes, has promoted Troy Sicotte to the position of company president. A veteran of the outdoor industry, Sicotte served as the brand’s vice president of sales for the past three years.

Over the past four months, Sicotte has held the position of interim co-president of Mountain Hardwear along with Director of Finance Mike Parker. Together, they helped seamlessly transition the organization to new leadership. Moving forward, Sicotte will oversee all aspects of the organization.

Prior to joining Mountain Hardwear in 2018, Sicotte was the Global Director of Sales at 034Motorsport where he oversaw all aspects of sales and marketing, including global expansion, strategy and implementation.

Additionally, Sicotte spent more than 11 years with The North Face in various leadership roles, most recently as the Director of Sales: Footwear and Director of Sales: National Outdoor & Sporting Goods. Previously, he held various wholesale positions at Birkenstock.
