Montane Launches Branding, Sales, Marketing Initiatives in US

Constantly driving the trend in lightweight and breathable clothing and equipment designed for mountain adventure, British outdoor clothing brand Montane announced its latest brand initiative as the company named two North American organizations to manage its business programs in the United States.

Effective immediately, industry veteran Mike Downing of Boulder, Colorado, will assume the role of Country Manager for the United States, overseeing all wholesale, professional and direct sales for Montane’s apparel and equipment collection. Downing will work in conjunction with Denny, ink. of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, having been recruited as the brand’s PR agency, responsible for media relations, strategic communications counsel, and targeted community marketing.

The announcement comes as the company renews its commitment to the North American marketplace with a new brand position, visual identity and strategic sales programs.
