Kitsbow, maker of premium cycling clothing, and most recently PPE to equip medical workers and first responders fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, announced that Andrew Chmar has joined Kitsbow’s Board of Directors. An expert logician having served in the U.S. Army for more than two decades, Chmar brings expertise in strategic planning and operational management to the Kitsbow board, said the brand.
Most recently, Chmar served as the executive director of the Hudson Highlands Land Trust for 12 years, where he guided the organization to preserve more than 2,300 acres within 50 miles of New York City. He tapped a 30-member board of directors, leading the transformation of this locally focused organization to one of national prominence and statewide influence – while annual revenues grew by 500-percent and net assets increased from $350,000 to $6.5 million.

Chmar will join existing members of the board: Zander Nosler, David Billstrom, Paul Blum and Jim Gingrich. He is based in Highlands, North Carolina.
