Industrial Revolution, a legacy manufacturer and distributor of innovative outdoor products, announced a key addition to its Seattle-based team. Scott Youmans will join the team as product manager, spearheading product development for its in-house brands, UCO Gear and Pedco.
Youmans brings more than a decade of experience designing high-quality products for outdoor adventure. Most recently, he worked as the stove, cookware and winter product line manager for Cascade Designs, where he developed and executed the strategic roadmap for market leadership across those categories.
Prior to that, Youmans served as the snowshoe development engineer with K2, where his team earned multiple awards for its innovative product design.
In his role at Industrial Revolution, he will be responsible for product development from ideation to development to commercialization, working collaboratively across departments to ensure all products exhibit excellence and innovation.
