Gander Mountain to Open Philly Store

Next weekend, Gander Mountain is celebrating its new store in Warrington, Pa., with a four-day grand opening celebration starting Sept. 8. The event will feature live music, celebrity appearances, giveaways and family activities for the community.

The newest Gander Mountain will be located in a new 52,700-square-foot store building in the Warrington Crossing development, near the junction of County Line Road and Easton Road. It will be the 12th Gander Mountain location in Pennsylvania, joining existing stores in Chambersburg, Erie, Greensburg, Johnstown, Moon Township, Scranton, Washington, West Mifflin, Williamsport, York and most recently opened Monroeville.

As part of the grand opening, the first 1,000 guests through the door each day from Thursday, Sept. 8, through Sunday, Sept. 11, will receive a free scratch-off card for great prizes and Gander Mountain gear. Every card is a winner, with prizes ranging from gift cards valued up to $100, discounts up to 50 percent off, to shirts, hats and more. Guests may also register for a chance to win a $500 Gander Mountain gift card.

“As the first store in the Philadelphia area, we’re excited to bring Gander Mountain and our passion for the outdoors to Warrington for those who love hunting, shooting sports, fishing and camping,” said Gander Mountain’s Warrington Store Manager Seth Finkey. “We’ve put together a weekend of family-friendly events to bring the local community together.”
