The Functional Fabric Fair, powered by PERFORMANCE DAYS, has opened registration for its Summer 2025 edition. This event – which takes place at the Javits Center in New York City – will introduce a Day 0 Sustainability Workshop (Jul. 21) and exhibition hall hours (Jul. 22–23).
Functional Fabric Fair is recognized as a premier trade-only sourcing event in the U.S. for high-performance functional fabrics and textile innovation. The Summer 2025 edition will feature 140+ sustainability-certified suppliers as they present materials and technology geared toward the Summer 2026/27 seasons.
Attendees can deepen industry connections by attending networking events while staying informed with educational sessions on topics such as color and trend forecasting, emerging textile technologies, garment and design insight and tariff navigation.
The Day 0 Sustainability Workshop will unite the supply chain, dedicated to sustainable strategy, offering expert-led seminars, hands-on workshops, case studies and roundtable discussions focused on building a practical understanding of sustainable products and materials. Designed for exhibitor and attendee industry leaders, professionals and students, the program requires a paid registration. Space is limited.
“As demand for responsible and performance-driven materials continues to rise amid global supply chain uncertainties, we’re excited to return to New York City with a show that emphasizes innovation and connections as well as impact,” said Steve McCullough, event VP. “We are thrilled to bring the Day 0 Sustainability Workshop to a new group of professionals this Summer. Our focus this edition is on fashion and performance wear — connecting the industry with the most advanced materials and solutions in the heart of one of the world’s style capitals.”
Additional information on educational programming and events will be announced next month. This trade-only event is free for verified designers, product developers, purchasing agents, material and sustainability sourcing professionals and students in the outdoor, performance, fashion and lifestyle apparel sectors.
