Finalists for the 10th annual Outdoor Retailer Inspiration Awards were announced yesterday, with the judges determining finalists across six categories for the awards that “recognize those making an impact and inspiring others to enjoy, participate in, and support outdoor recreation.” Winners will be unveiled in a live online ceremony on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, during Outdoor Retailer Online.
“The finalists for this year’s Outdoor Retailer Inspiration Awards are truly inspiring and are leading others to outdoor recreation while also enabling them to be their best,” said Marisa Nicholson, Outdoor Retailer senior vice president and show director. “The judging panel faced a difficult task in narrowing down an extraordinary group of nominees. Now, we’re looking forward to celebrating all finalists and watching the winners announced live in a few weeks as part of Outdoor Retailer Online.”
The six categories include individual, manufacturer, retailer, nonprofit organization, youth, and a new #weareCommunity award. Finalist include:
Individual: Teresa Baker, Faith E. Briggs, Tracy Nguyen-Chung
Manufacturer: BioLite, Orvis, Outdoor Research, Smartwool
Retailer: College Outside, Moosejaw, Outdoor Gear Exchange
Nonprofit: Adaptive Adventures, Greening Youth Foundation, No Barriers, Women’s Wilderness
Youth: Aida Frey, Tatianna Butte

The 13-member judging panel will now determine winners. The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. ET at www.outdoorretaileronline.com, and the event is free for anyone to watch with registration.
