Field & Stream, the specialty store brand recently launched by Dick’s Sporting Goods, announced grand opening plans for four stores. The new stores are located in Horseheads, N.Y.; Altoona, Pa.; Rochester, N.Y.; and Miamisburg, Ohio. The grand openings for all the locations run from Friday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 12.
The store in Horsehead is located at Big Flats Consumer Square (830 County Route 64), while the Altoona store is located at Sierra North Plaza (141 Sierra Drive). The Rochester store is at Marketplace Mall (1200 Miracle Mile Drive), and Miamisburg door opens at Austin Landing (10351 Innovation Drive).
At the openings, children ages 6 to 15 are invited to participate in the Field & Stream Hunt, Cast & Pitch Youth Challenge on Saturday, October 11 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Participants will test their skills in archery, casting and tent building. Winners will receive prizes, including Field & Stream gift cards. The first 100 participants to register for the Hunt, Cast & Pitch Youth Challenge will receive a complimentary t-shirt.
