EK USA recently filed a lawsuit against Snugz USA alleging patent infringement in connection with Snugz’s USA’s sales of a Powercord Lanyard and Power Cord Eyewear Retainer. The case was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Utah. The lawsuit has now been settled and Snugz USA has ceased selling the accused Lanyard and Eyewear Retainer, according to sources at EK.
EK holds more than 25 patents and said it will continue to “aggressively protect its intellectual property.”
