Dish & Du/er Brings Its Performance Denim to US

Dish & Du/er announced its U.S. launch at this week’s Capsule show in Las Vegas. Utilizing technically advanced fabrics found in performance activewear, Dish & Du/er designs performance denim that moves, stretches and breathes and is built for a modern, active yet sophisticated clientele, said the company.

“We are thrilled to introduce Dish & Du/er to the U.S. market,” said Gary Lenett, founder of Dish & Du/er. “Our collection is perfectly suited to the growing population of individuals who lead a busy, active lifestyle necessitating smart clothes that make it easier to do all they do in a day.”

Key to the Spring 2016 collection is Dish & Du/er’s most recent fabric innovation, L2X denim, which is antimicrobial and is both 30% lighter and stronger than traditional denim, says the company. Thermo-regulating fibers made from Invista Coolmax are woven into the fabric to move moisture away from the body while enhancing the fabric drying rate, thus keeping the wearer feeling cool and dry.

“At Dish & Du/er, we are re-thinking assumptions about denim to make jeans that are just as comfortable as your favorite pair of athletic pants,” Lenett added. “We partner with some of the most innovative performance mills in the world to develop fabrics that mimic the benefits of technical apparel, yet still look like premium jeans. What you are going to see from us in the next few years is the perfect combination of style and performance that has yet to be achieved in the denim category.”

For Spring 2016, Dish for women puts a new twist on classic styles with the launch of seven new fits in a variety of washes including: comfort skinny, straight & narrow, relaxed skinny, hiking jean, and moto zip, along with a 360 degree stretch denim jacket. Prices range from $108 to $200. For men, Du/er denim has a full complement of utility and secret pockets, reinforced knees and ergonomically adjusted fits that offer subtle but essential performance details. Prices range from $120-200.
