Dick’S Sporting Goods will be opening a new sporting goods store in Beaumont, Texas, and a new Golf Galaxy store Pineville, N.C. laster this month.
The Pineville Golf Galaxy, located at Carolina Place Mall, will celebrate its opening on the weekend of May 10. The new Dick’s, located at Parkdale Mall in Beaumont, will see it’s opening festivities take place on the weekend of May 17.
For each Grand Opening weekend, customers will receive the chance to win prizes and participate in fun activities. Customers will have the chance to meet special guests, such as linebacker Thomas Davis and former Carolina running back Jonathan Stewart in Pineville, and Houston running back Lamar Miller in Beaumont.
Following these new store openings, Dick’s will have 728 Sporting Goods stores and 95 Golf Galaxy stores nationwide in 47 states. The new locations will bring approximately 160 collective jobs to two communities through the hiring of full-time, part-time and temporary associates for these stores.
