Dick’s continues to expand despite talk about the dire future for sporting goods chains. The retailer will celebrate three more grand opening events on the weekend of October 28.
The day, the full-line sporting goods retailer will be opening its 36th store in Florida at Mission Bay Plaza in Boca Raton, its 17th store in Tennessee at College Square Mall in Morristown, and its 39th store in at Bechtle Crossing in Springfield. The grand opening events at each store run through Sunday, October 30, with the usual amount of giveaways, drawings and local sports personality appearances.
After the opening of the three new stores, Dick’s will be up to 675 store nationwide.
