Dakine to Close Oregon Office

Outdoor gear maker Dakine has announced that the company is closing its Hood River, Oregon, office. In addition, Dakine will lay off 39 employees.

“The current health crisis, and the corresponding Oregon stay at home order were unforeseen business circumstances, and have made it financially unfeasible for the company to continue operating,” stated Dakine human resources director Raeanne Norberg.

The company is now planning to transition operations to its global headquarters in Southern California.
